Reginald was born April 6, 1880. They resided at Meaford, Ontario%CITE{1002}%. Mr. and Mrs. Emary Lived and farmed on Highway #26, three miles west of Meaford.

The Final Years for Reginald

REGINALD EMARY DIES THURSDAY; -- Meaford, March 7, 1946, Reginald Wilfred Emary, a lifelong resident of this district, died suddenly at his home on the Owen Sound, Meaford Highway a few miles from here early on Thursday morning. Deceased was born in his present home, a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Emary. He was in in his 66th year. Forty years ago he was united in marriage to Mary Benedict who survives along with one daughter Audrey, Mrs. George Jolly of St. Vincent, and one son, Frank at home. Mr. Emary, who was the last surviving member of his family, was a devoted member of Olivet Baptist Church, Meaford. He had been a member of S. S. No. 2 School board for several years. Deceased was very well known throughout the district. He brought milk to Meaford each morning. His sudden death will occasion deepest regret among a wide circle of friends.

THE REGINALD EMARY FUNERAL SERVICE; -- Meaford March 12, 1946. Funeral service for the late Reginald Emary, esteemed St. Vincent Township resident, was held from his former residence on Saturday afternoon. Relatives from throughout this community as well as many from Toronto and other points were present for the service as were a wide host of friends. Rev. John Dodds of Owen Sound had charge of the service. There were many beautiful floral tributes. The pallbearers were H. McConnell, Dave McCann, William Bumstead, James Rumsby, Arthur Laycock and Edward Calvert. Interment was made at Lakeview Chapel, Meaford.

MARY ANNE (BENEDICT) EMARY; -- Died at Cara Villa Nursing Home, Collingwood on Monday evening April 19th 1965 Mary Anne Benedict, beloved wife of the late Reginald Emary. Dear mother of Audrey (Mrs. George Jolley) and Frank both of St. Vincent Township; sister of Lavena (MRS. Ben Vail) St. Catharines and Herbert Benedict, Collingwood. The late Mrs. Emary is resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home, Boucher Street, Meaford, where the service will be held on Thursday afternoon, April 22nd at 2:30 o'clock. Interment Lakeview Cemetery,Meaford.
